Charity Pub Quiz - next one is Sat 18th May

We're having a pub quiz starting 7.30pm, teams of four with £1 per person to take part. It's all in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance Service, so get yourselves down for a fun night in a good cause. We’ll be doing this once a month on the third Saturday as a rule, so look out for the next date for your diary!

Kitchen reopens with pasty menu

Currently we’re serving a selection of pasties all served with chips and peas, beans or gravy for just £8.95 - give them a try! Alternatively, our sister inn the Pennington, a few steps down the street, serves food daily.

Out and About

Right here in Ravenglass there's the fabulous Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway - narrow gauge heritage steam and the longest narrowgauge line in the county, it's a beautiful ride up Eskdale to sample the wares of the valley's pubs, go for a womble to Stanley Ghyll Falls or visit Cumbria's oldest working watermill in Boot village before afternoon tea at the station cafe or walk back to Ravenglass along the Eskdale Trail. Marvellous!

Just up the road is Muncaster Castle, with gardens, Hawk & Owl Centre and Castle open daily in summer and weekends in winter except Jan and early Feb.
